I wish I knew that college forces you to have impeccable time management and that there are a lot of readings. I also wish I learned how to cite in APA before coming to college.

Erin Enriques graduated PCHS in 2019 and currently attends American University in Washington DC where she studies International Relations and Environmental Studies. Erin is one of the co-founders of Ho'ohuli Youth, an initiative to uplift youth voice in civic engagement. In the future, she hopes to work at an NGO (non-governmental organization) that promotes sustainability and human rights.
Other Advice/Information
Take advantage of Early College! It's so much cheaper and you get the same education as a normal college student. Also the credits transfer over (more often than AP) so you can save time and money when you graduate high school. Another really good class to take is AP Stats, as there is a good chance you will end up taking statistics anyway, so might as well get a good introduction to it–and if you do well on the exam, you can get college credit for it.
