It's okay if you don't know what you want to do.It's okay to start college with undecided/undeclared major. Learn how to manage your time in high school! It gets harder to manage your time in college because your parents won't be there to cook, clean or do your laundry. Don't stress yourself out too much, focus on the things that really matter. "if it won't matter in 5 years, don't spend more than 5 minutes being upset over it." Try your best to be nice to everyone, especially your parents!

Maia Alejo '18

Temple University

Health Information Management

Maia Alejo graduated from PCHS in 2018 and was in the Health Academy, HOSA, and student council. She currently attends Temple University in Pennsylvania. Maia is the President of her school's Filipino Club and a member of Alpha Sigma Rho sorority. Her major is Health Information Management. As of right now, she'd like to work as a healthcare consultant.

Other Advice/Information

Depression and anxiety are becoming more prevalent in high schoolers, take care of yourself and look after each other. Show up to as many events as you can! The following classes were helpful and interesting: finance (Mr. Waka), french (Madame Smith), physiology (Mr. Shishido).
