Check to see if the college you attend offers an early admission pathway/program if you plan on pursuing a higher degree (medical doctor, pharmacy, lawyer, veterinarian, etc). That program will work with you on ensuring you are taking the correct courses and staying on track.

Dr. Ronald Susa graduated from PCHS in 2009. He attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Music in 2014. He then received a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2018. Currently, Dr. Susa is working as a staff pharmacist at CVS Health in northern California.

Other Advice/Information

When you volunteer or shadow someone, do some research on the position/profession, then come prepared with questions to ask that person to gain more insight.

Take your secondary language course seriously; you may be able to test out of taking language credit requirements in college, saving you money in the long run.

Be comfortable with not knowing everything or being wrong!
