Leina Campos graduated from Pearl City High School in 1998 and has over 17 years of Air, Army, and Joint military experience. She joined the Hawaii Air National Guard in June 1998 and moved to Seattle, WA in 2000, continuing her service in the Washington Air National Guard. She voluntarily separated from the Air National Guard in 2006 to pursue her Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and received her BS in International Political Economics in June 2010. She moved home to Hawaii in 2010 and joined the Hawaii Army National Guard in 2011 to pursue a commission. She commissioned as an intelligence officer in March 2013. Since 2014, she has worked various mission sets for the US government and currently supports a counter-narcotics/illicit chemical mission. She is married to Nicole and they reside in Ewa Beach.
