College admissions is an ever changing landscape. Admissions requirements differ vastly for public and private institutions, although applications may be similar for both. If you apply to music conservatories, you should be prepared to work with a professional recording studio to put together an audition tape in addition to meeting other application requirements.

Brandon Marc Higa graduated from PCHS in 1999 and is currently an attorney and legal scholar with a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Relations from the University of Southern California. Brandon is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA) as a professional actor and commercial model. Brandon was a clarinetist under former Bandmaster Michael Nakasone at the Royal Hawaiian Band.
