Insights

One thing that I wished that I knew about college while in high school was to take classes that I am interested in rather than random classes that fulfill the graduation requirements. There are a lot of classes to choose from for each requirement so try to choose a class that fits you! It can be difficult to focus and have motivation when you have no interest in a topic, so by choosing a course that piques your interest, you can have a lot more fun in the class!

Other Advice/Information

College can be a difficult transition for a lot of people, but if you just take advantage of all that college has to offer you, you will have a more worthwhile experience. I recommend joining clubs during your first semester because it will provide a more comfortable environment and it's a great way to make new friends! I also encourage students to not be afraid to take on leadership positions! It can be nerve-wracking at first, but it's a really great experience and can help build you as a person.
